Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy explains what information CreatorDefend (“we”, “us”) collects through creatordefend.com, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Case information: the details, links, messages and files you submit about your case.
- Contact and newsletter: messages you send us and the email address you subscribe with.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, used for security (for example to block repeated failed logins).
How we use it
- To provide copyright support and manage your case.
- To communicate with you about your case and your account.
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
- To send updates and offers if you subscribed — you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Who can see your case
Only you and authorised CreatorDefend staff can see your case details and files. We do not sell your personal information. We share information with a platform or third party only when it is needed to handle your case and you have asked us to act for you, or when the law requires it.
Storage and security
Passwords are stored using one-way hashing. Uploaded files are kept outside the public part of the website and are only delivered to logged-in users who are allowed to see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
How long we keep information
We keep case records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and data.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting support@creatordefend.com.
Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. Your light/dark display choice is saved in your own browser.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
